Dr. Ben McWilliams' enthusiasm for dentistry began at a young age, and his early interest made choosing a profession easy. Dr. McWilliams pursued his passion, and he excelled. In 2005, Dr. McWilliams graduated from a six-year dental program at the University of Detroit Mercy. He was one of only six graduates from this prestigious program that year, and he holds both Bachelors and Doctorate degrees. Before graduating from the University of Detroit Mercy with honors, he also took part in a periodontal fellowship, gaining in-depth knowledge about periodontal (gum) care and treatments.
Dr. McWilliams then went on to join one of the largest emergency dental clinics in Chicago, where he practiced for 13 years, before arriving in Santa Barbara, an ideal spot for both Dr. McWilliams and his wife. But his education didn’t stop. Dr. McWilliams is dedicated to providing his patients with the highest-quality dental care, so he continues to improve his practice and grow his knowledge by participating in continuing education programs and study clubs.
He stays up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in comprehensive and modern dentistry, which helps him offer his patients the best care.
As a dedicated dentist, Dr. McWilliams is passionate about restoring patients' smiles, creating better overall health and aesthetics, and he strives to aid each patient in achieving their unique goals.
